A real track day for a GT driver costs €10,000–15,000 for a few hours of driving. This driver ordered a €40,000 simulator from us - and for someone training at his level, the math is simple.

He races a Lamborghini Super Trofeo EVO2. He already knew exactly what a good simulator does for his driving, because he'd built one himself at his home in Estonia and trained on it constantly. But he spends half his time at his place in France, and he wanted a training tool there as well.

Since he built his own simulator, he knew exactly how much of a hassle it is to put a high-end setup together from scratch. This time, he wanted it handled.

So we built him a Helente HX.

Two Requests

His request was short and specific.

Make it drive like his real Lamborghini. And make it red. So we did.

Built Around His Actual Car

We loaded the Lamborghini Super Trofeo EVO2 - his exact car - into two sim titles: Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione, with every track from his real race calendar. iRacing, the most refined sim out there, doesn't have the Super Trofeo series, so we installed it with the closest car available - the Huracán GT3.

The match goes beyond the software. The HX is built on an aluminium profile chassis, so we could set his seating position to sit almost exactly like his real Super Trofeo - same seat, pedals and wheel position.

The active brake pedal let us dial in the braking to match how it feels in his real car. For a GT driver, brake feel is most of the feedback loop and getting it right is what makes the training carry over to the track.

The triple 45" screens wrap around your whole field of view. That makes you feel like you're sitting inside the car, and you can glance to either side to see opponents alongside you.

The steering wheel was his own pick - a high-end Ascher Racing steering wheel with a built-in display.

All Red

We custom painted the chassis and monitor stand in red and carried it through the whole build - the seat in red, the harness in red and a custom Helente Windows wallpaper to finish off the look. The entire simulator built around the car he drives, in the design he asked for.

Delivered Across Europe

We loaded the complete simulator into a van and drove it across Europe to his house in France.

On site, we installed it, dialed in his seating position, configured the steering and braking feel exactly how he wanted, and walked him through the whole system.

When we arrived, he told us: "I know the sim helps a lot, and I really needed to have it here as well."

The Result

He had a race weekend just after delivery. He told us the two days he spent on the simulator beforehand made a real difference and his pace improved.

That's the whole point. A training tool that feels like his real car, costs less than a few track days and is available any time, any day.
