One of the most common mistakes I see in sim racing setups is poorly positioned monitors. It seems like a small thing, but it changes everything.

The center of the monitor should be about eye level. If the screens are too high or too low, your neck and eyes will hurt after a long time.

Another important thing is the distance from your eyes. If you want a realistic FOV (field of view), use an FOV calculator to find out how far away the screens should be. And if you have triple monitors – the angle between them is also very important.

But my opinion is this…

Realistic FOV is not everything.

If it makes your eyes tired or just uncomfortable – all the pleasure is gone. The most important thing is that the setup is engaging and comfortable. Believe me, when you find the balance between realism and comfort – then a real “wow” feeling appears.

And if you are just building your rig from scratch – check out our Helente aluminum profile frames – they are strong as a tank and ideal for a good setup.
